朝はそんなに寒くなかったのか、寝てる間にいちばん重たい布団を蹴飛ばしていたようで、おきたときは少し肌寒かったweb担当の足立です。しかしながら昼過ぎからはどんどん気温が低下し、夜には雪になるとのこと。これは猫でなくともコタツで丸くなりたくなるレベルです。
先週の土日は阿蘇神社から菊池神社を回る初詣をやって参りました。近所の氏神さんのところにはお参りしていましたが、崇敬社にもということで観光がてら回ってきた次第です。
阿蘇も下のほうは天気が悪いわけではなかったですが、ご覧のとおり、阿蘇五岳のほうはすっかりの雪化粧。
向こうに見えるは阿蘇五岳の一峰、「烏帽子岳」…だったと思います。
で、阿蘇神社に参って、そのあと奥宮である阿蘇山上神社（御神体は阿蘇の火口です）までお参りしてきました。ちなみに阿蘇では江戸時代くらいまで「オンダケサンマイリ」という習慣があり、ここで夫婦の契りを交わしていたという故事にちなみ、阿蘇山上にある西巌殿寺奥の院というところは縁結びスポットとして人気です。ちなみに私はここで「商売繁盛」をお願いしております。

阿蘇山上ロープウェー駅で面白いものを発見したのですが…それはまた来週にでもお話します。
阿蘇から下って大津を通り菊池神社へ。
菊池神社は、特に朝廷に貢献があった武士として明治に入って創建された神社。ご祭神は南北朝時代に九州南朝側の雄として征西将軍「懐良親王」とともに戦った菊池武光公をはじめとした菊池一族三柱です。
菊池武光及び懐良親王について面白い小説はやはり北方謙三「武王の門」ですね。最近では「好きな武将は支倉常長」とか言っちゃうアイドルとかが出てきていますが…
お前は本当に支倉常長が好きなのかと問いたい。問い詰めたい。小一時間問い詰めたい。

・・・失礼しました。そんな大人気の戦国時代と異なり、とかく地味で余り人気のない南北朝時代ですが、これを読めばその概念が吹き飛びます。歴史小説好きにはお勧めです。
以上、今週末は阿蘇神社・阿蘇山上神社・菊池神社を回る三社参りをしたという話でした。となりで弊社社長から「ブログとは絵日記のようなものか」と言われ、半ばめげながらも今日も書ききることが出来ました。ありがとうございます。毎日何がしか更新していくというのは正直しんどいのですが、がんばって更新して参りますので、宜しくお願いします。
